Come back

Can we go back to summer already?

I mean, I love the winter and the snow. But winter has brought coldness and darkness.

I just want to go back to the happiness and the sunshine.

I want to feel the summer sun on my skin again and wearing sunglasses. I want to lay in the green grass and watch the trees sway above me. I want to hear shrieks and screams from carnival rides and I want to eat strawberries and cream. I want to wear shorts and sandals. I want to go back to the love that blossomed and made my summer all the sweeter. I want to go back to all the butterflies and tears and hugs. I want to watch fireworks shoot and explode into the sky and have soda shoot out of my nose from laughter.
