You know those people who come into your life for a reason, but you really don't know the reason until they're gone?
And sometimes you know exactly why they're in your life.
Well, today in seminary we talked about service. And my seminary teacher quoted this by David O Mckay "...it is usually through other people that God meets our needs."
I had a little chuckle at that one. Because God sure had a plan for me a few years ago, and he definitely had another person help carry out that plan.
There were things I needed at that time.
Things like learning a lot about myself and about how I work with other people.
And now because of the experience I'm different, but still the same.
And it was timed so perfectly in a position in my life where the way I looked at the world and how I fit into it, was changing.
{If you want hear in detail about this experience, come ask me and free up about an hour of your time. But I wont be explaining it here. Because in reality, it was pathetic. And for the sake of embarrassing myself and the other party involved, we'll keep it vague}
But apparently Heavenly Father still thinks I need something so He seems to be putting a certain person {or persons} in my path.
Sometimes, I think to myself that Heavenly Father must have some good little chuckles at my expense.
I'm not being disrespectful, I just think some of the trials I have are almost laugh-worthy.
But this is probably making no sense to you whatsoever, so I'll sum it up in one very distinct word that all girls must deal with some time or another.
BOYS
And there you have it!
{I hope you're laughing, or at least chuckling. Because I know I am!!}
And no, Mr. X is not involved in this trial, per se.
I'll probably post another post {ha!} tomorrow ranting about my frustrations with the opposite gender, because I have loads more to say!
If you have read this long, bless your sweet heart. And I thank you.
