This is why

I came across this quote today in seminary
and it hit me like a ton of bricks.

"How difficult it must be for Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, to see so many needlessly suffer, because His gift of repentance is ignored. It must pain Him deeply to see the pointless agony both in this life and beyond the veil that accompany the unrepentant sinner after all He did so that we need not suffer."

And it just came to me: this is why I feel I should serve a mission

I feel that there are so many people out there who "needlessly suffer" because they don't know there's a better way. and I want to help them find the better way. I want to tell them that there's a better, more fulfilling way to live life.

I have felt the healing power of the Atonement and what kinda peace it brings, wiping your slate clean, and I want others to feel that.

It felt so good to find that quote today. Seminary rocks. So, as of right now, the plan for my future is a mission.

And I'm really excited!

Why did I even put on make-up?

Today just started as a crummy day,and I'm not exactly sure why. Do you ever wake up and you're just like"Meh. School is stupid." and proceed to fall back asleep?
Yup. that happened to me about 12 times this morning, and I finally decided I should probably go to school because my mom gave me the lecture on "you're-missing-too-much-school-and-I'm-gonna-take-away-your-phone". So I dragged my sorry bum out of bed, pulled on a hat and trudged off to school.

Then I proceeded to cry in Dex's truck about why I felt so pathetic and stupid today {of course acting like a baby} and then he kindly told me that I wasn't pathetic, in fact I was quite adorable, and gave me a hug. What a nice guy that boy is.

Then my whole day got better.
