Come with me for a moment while I weave a fantastical tale of an Arizona girl
and the wonders of snow. :)
Today I woke up to rain pounding on the tin roof and I thought to myself, as I dragged myself out of bed,
"If only it would snow."
I got ready this morning. I brushed my teeth, fixed my hair.
I stepped outside my door and my breath came in delicate puffs.
My feet crunched through the snow left over from last night.
I swept off the snow on my car and drove to school.
During class, I looked out the window and a beautiful scene played before my eyes:
Snow.
Delicate, white flakes floated around in the sky.
The outside was totally transformed. Everything was white and clean.
Once I got outside for Seminary, I promptly stuck out my tongue to catch the falling sugar.
But it didn't taste like sugar, like I knew it wouldn't, but I felt like a kid again.
It was beautiful.
